  1. Press the emergency call button on the elevator. It is a good idea to locate this button before an actual emergency.
  2. Give the person answering as much information as possible including your location, what elevator you are on and any medical issues that should be known.
  3. Stay calm and await the emergency responders to arrive.
  4. Do not attempt to extricate yourself.
